With this piece I am stepping away from my more ancient offerings as I will do from time to time if I come across a piece I really like.

Here we have a lovely and delicate late 18th century Georgian necklace made up of 15 antique agate cameos of ladies each set separately surrounded by seed pearls linked together by a double gold chain terminating in a box shaped clasp.

It measures open; 39cms and weighs 18 & ½ grams

The necklace is sold within a R & S GARRARD & co , GOLDSMITH & JEWELLERS TO THE CROWN 25 HAYMARKET LONDON, blue faded velvet oval case lined in blue silk.
