Lover's brooch
Description
Charming early 19th century lovers brooch, set with 2 aquamarine hearts and each with a flame coming out of the the top of the hearts, the flame represented by a ruby stone. Above the hearts in silver guilt is a winged cherub’s head with a sunburst behind it, the brooch is set with a row of fresh water pearls around the outer rim of the brooch, all in all a lovely lovers gift, beautifully executed in silver guilt around 200 years ago, a great Valentine’s gift from a lover to his love.
